Culture Label

Pleased to announce that from now on you can find some things from Hairy Sock at - a place that used to sell goods from museum shops, such as Tate, Saatchi, V&A, etc, by artists such as David Shrigley, Louise Bourgeois, Damien Hirst, etc. Two weeks ago it has broadened it's range with less famous names alongside, offering a wider range of smart things.
It's not just a place to sell an buy, it is also a platform for various projects and contests in collaboration with the British art institutions mentioned above.

This is a shoot we did back in spring. Shot by Ruta Jankauskaite, modelled by Ugne Sabalyte, styled by me. The last pic is a cover for 370 magazine , there was an editorial too. Same crew there.

Isle, 2010, installation

there's a rusty video here (the second one), but worth seeing anyway, for the installation contains moving things and sounds.

Cage & Aviary can't go wrong.
This blog is balearic after all, must serve it's name.

Zoe's dinner time

I did a commission work for Zoe's Bar and Grill this spring. It is one of the best places to eat out in Vilnius. I did some menu designs for it, but I'm publishing only the background pictures I've arranged and shot. Leaving the design part aside is kinda odd, but I think the menu and the price list is the property of the restaurant, so it might be just another reason to visit it.
The main menu itself is a double LP cover with actual vinyls inside.
here is the inner part of it and a picture for cocktail menu:

Marcel Dzama

My latest obsession are creatures and things that happen with them invented by the talented mind and hand of Marcel Dzama. These are taken form his The Super Happyfun Comic Page, in random order.

His other illustrations are also worth seeing, they have a very specific color palette, obtained using root beer. They are all over the internet.

Here's a video (art) directed by him:
